### Getting Started

Windows Security can block the launcher before it opens. This happens because the file uses behavior that looks suspicious to Microsoft, such as injection and protected memory access.

This is required only to prevent Windows Security from quarantining, deleting, or blocking the launcher during setup.

#### Disable Windows Security

1. Open **Windows Security**.
2. Go to **Virus & threat protection**.
3. Click **Manage settings** under **Virus & threat protection settings**.
4. Turn **Off** these options:
   * **Real-time protection**
   * **Cloud-delivered protection**
   * **Automatic sample submission**
   * **Tamper Protection**

#### Add an exclusion

1. Return to **Virus & threat protection**.
2. Open **Manage settings**.
3. Scroll to **Exclusions** and click **Add or remove exclusions**.
4. Add the folder where you keep the launcher and extracted files.

If you skip these steps, Windows may remove the file automatically or stop it from launching.

You can turn these protections back on after you finish using the cheat.

Some games cause their Anti-Cheat to run in the background even when the game isn't being played, this can cause issues for when you are trying to launch the cheat as they can block it.

#### Install Launcher

Download and install the latest version of the launcher to begin setup

#### Graphic Card Preparation

**If NVIDIA:**

* Install NVIDIA App
* Complete authorization
* Install latest GPU driver
* Enable NVIDIA Overlay

**If AMD:**

* Install **AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition** (PRO version does NOT work)
* Install latest GPU driver
* Enable In-Game Overlay
* Enable Performance Display in Performance tab

#### Run Launcher

Run the launcher as **Administrator**, then enter your license key from your [<mark style="color:$primary;">**Purchase History**</mark>](https://ghostcheats.com/clients/purchases/)

#### Launching Process

After your license is accepted, the cheat will automatically load. This usually takes around **30 seconds**.

Once you’re in-game, press **INS** to open the cheat menu

<summary>BIOS Errors</summary>

**Enable Intel VT-X**

* Enable “Intel Virtualization Technology”

**Enable AMD-V**

* Enable “SVM Mode” or “AMD-V”

**Disable Secure Boot**

* Disable Secure Boot in BIOS

<summary>Unsupported Firmware</summary>

Convert OS disk to GPT using:

* `mbr2gpt`
* Or disk management utility

<summary>Secure Boot Keys Incorrect</summary>

1. Enable Secure Boot in BIOS
2. Boot into Windows
3. Run PowerShell:

   ```
   Confirm-SecureBootUEFI
   ```
4. If output = True, reboot
5. Disable Secure Boot again

<summary>VMX / SVM Not Supported</summary>

* Disable “Virtual Machine Platform”
* Disable “Hyper-V”
* Run in CMD (Admin):

```
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
```

Reboot.

<summary>Incorrect HWID</summary>

* Open CMD as Administrator:

  ```
  wmic diskdrive get Caption, SerialNumber
  wmic baseboard get SerialNumber
  ```

  If errors occur → reinstall Windows.<br>
